New seminars in 2023
Heinsberg police

The road safety advice provided by the Heinsberg district police authority is aimed at "mobile road users aged 60 and over" who take part in road traffic either by bicycle or pedelec and/or by car.

With this seminar, we want to promote and strengthen the competence of drivers in road traffic. Participants have the opportunity to optimize their own driving behavior and learn what more they can do for their safety.

In the first part of the seminar, participants will be introduced to new developments in the traffic area and changed traffic regulations as well as technical innovations.

The second day deals exclusively with the bicycle/pedelec and includes theoretical innovations (e.g. obligation to use cycle paths yes/no) as well as practical exercises in public traffic areas, including tips on riding a pedelec.

The last part of the seminar focuses on cars. In addition to imparting basic theoretical knowledge, practical exercises are also carried out on and with your own vehicle in a safe environment. Useful vehicle assistance systems and how they support the driver are explained.
