The paths in our region are popular - for cycling and walking, for a round with the dog, for inline skating, jogging or for a tour on an e-scooter.

All these encounters between route users with their very different interests can only work if everyone is considerate of each other.

This is why the road safety advisors from the Wuppertal police and the Rheinisch-Bergisch district police, as well as the Remscheid traffic watch and the Rheinisch-Bergisch district traffic watch, will once again be available to all interested parties on the Balkantrasse during the summer vacations.

At the prevention events "Together on the route! But safely!" we want to motivate people to behave prudently and show mutual consideration on the route through talks, demonstrations and information stands.

The kick-off event will take place next Tuesday (16.07.2024, 9 am to 3 pm) in Remscheid-Bergisch Born (Balkantrasse, junction to the route to Hückeswagen).
