Erkelenz-Tenholt - Last Monday (December 30), a car driver was driving on the K 32 between the villages of Neu-Immerath and Tenholt when a grey Peugeot came towards him at around 2.35 p.m.
For unknown reasons, the Peugeot pulled into oncoming traffic. The 38-year-old swerved to the right into the grass verge to avoid a collision and drove over a crash barrier in the process.
A following car driver also had to brake hard to avoid colliding with the Peugeot.
The driver drove off in the direction of Neu-Immerath and is now being sought.
