Geilenkirchen-Lindern - Last Thursday (4 July) at around 7 p.m., the railroad control center received a fault with the traffic light system at the Lindern level crossing. An inspection revealed that one of the traffic lights, which was installed above the St. Andrew's crossings, was damaged. The plastic cladding of the traffic light had probably been destroyed by a stone. Tampering with the cables behind it was also detected.
