An assault occurred in a pub on Markt Street at around 10.30 p.m. on Saturday (December 7). A 21-year-old man from Hückelhoven got into an argument with a man he did not know in the pub and left the premises shortly afterwards. The unknown guest followed him and punched him twice in the face with his fist outside the door. He then fled and witnesses to the incident called an ambulance.
The perpetrator was around 170 to 175 centimeters tall, around 65 years old, had grey hair and a grey beard.
