Heinsberg-Dremmen - On 3 November (Sunday), a serious traffic accident occurred on Lütticher Straße in which a motorcyclist was injured.
The 18-year-old was riding an unregistered motorcycle on Lütticher Straße at around 4.10 p.m. and attempted to overtake a car on the right that was driving directly in front of him, which was being driven by a 61-year-old man from Düren who was driving past a parked vehicle.
This caused the young man from Geilenkirchen to hit the parked vehicle and fall onto the road. He sustained such serious injuries that he had to be flown to a hospital by rescue helicopter for further treatment.
The police are now looking for witnesses who noticed the motorcyclist in the Dremmen area before the accident, in particular information about his driving style.
