Erkelenz - On Wednesday afternoon (July 2), there was a traffic accident between two cyclists on Roermonder Straße in which one person was slightly injured.
At around 12:15 p.m., a 24-year-old man was riding his bike on the sidewalk/cycle path of Roermonder Straße in the direction of Krefelder Straße.
As he passed through an alleyway, he collided with a blonde cyclist (wearing glasses) aged around 12 to 15 years old who wanted to turn onto the footpath/cycle path from the side path.
The older cyclist fell and sustained minor injuries. The teenager initially remained at the scene of the accident. After the 24-year-old's mother also arrived at the scene of the accident, the boy asked if he could continue riding. The mother then released him.
In order to clarify the accident, the boy and other witnesses are asked to contact the police.
