Heinsberg-Grebben - Early Thursday morning (July 3), an 18-year-old man was robbed by two strangers on his way home in Glanzstoffstraße.
The young man was walking along Gartenstraße at around 00:30 and turned off onto Glanzstoffstraße in the direction of Grebbener Straße.
In a side alley, two unknown men threatened him with knives and demanded that he hand over his breast pocket. When the 18-year-old refused, one of the perpetrators ripped the bag off his upper body. The robbers then fled via Gartenstraße in the direction of the Oberbruch train station parking lot.
One of the perpetrators was about 175 centimetres tall and thin. He had brown hair, tanned skin and a tattoo with Arabic characters on the right side of his neck. He was dressed in dark clothing and had a West Asian appearance.
His accomplice wore a green jacket and also looked West Asian.
