Wegberg - A 10-year-old boy was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk of Markusstraße in the direction of Echter Straße at around 07:45 on Thursday (June 6). At the Markusstraße / Echter Straße junction, he rode off the sidewalk onto the road and collided with the bike of a 13 to 14-year-old girl. Both the boy and the girl stated that they were not injured and left the scene of the accident. The 10-year-old later realized that he was slightly injured after all.
The police are now looking for possible witnesses to the accident as well as the cyclist involved in the accident. She had curly blonde shoulder-length hair and was wearing a black dress with polka dots and a black leather jacket. She was riding a white ladies' bike with a bouquet of flowers on the handlebars.
