A 43-year-old man from Geilenkirchen was attacked by three unknown persons on September 5 (Thursday) at around 9.25 p.m. on Markt Street. He drove his car into the town hall parking lot. When he got out of the car, a young man approached him and accused him of having run over his foot. He then punched the Geilenkirchen man in the direction of his head. He was able to avoid the blow. He was then attacked by two girls who were apparently accompanying the unknown man. The 43-year-old was also able to fend off this attack, but was hit on the cheek by a punch from the male perpetrator. After the punch, the three people ran off in an unknown direction. The male perpetrator was about 16 to 18 years old, about 170 centimeters tall and had slightly curly hair. He was carrying a shoulder bag and was wearing a white T-shirt. One of the girls was about 14 years old and very thin and the other girl was about 16 years old and had dark hair.
