Hückelhoven - On the morning of October 17 (Thursday), there was a traffic accident on Parkhofstraße in which a 50-year-old man from Hückelhoven was fatally injured. The driver of a truck had wanted to leave the site after unloading. He did not notice the man as he approached, as he was directly in front of the truck. The collision resulted in the pedestrian sustaining such serious injuries that an emergency doctor was called and was only able to determine his death. Parkhofstraße was completely closed for the duration of the accident investigation. The police have begun investigating the circumstances of the accident.
