Erkelenz - Early Wednesday morning (September 17), a resident of Sachenring was woken up by a loud noise at around 00:15. When she looked out of the window, she noticed an unknown man tampering with a neighbor's open car. When she drew attention to herself, the unknown man fled on a white bicycle in the direction of Mennekrather Kirchweg.
He was around 20 to 25 years old, over 180 centimetres tall and of slim build. He was carrying a large rucksack and was wearing black trousers with white stripes on the sides, a light-colored jacket and a light-colored cap.
According to initial findings, a power bank was stolen. Whether other items were stolen is still being investigated.
