Victim wanted after traffic accident

Übach-Palenberg-Marienberg - On the morning of October 11 (Saturday), between 7:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m., a traffic accident occurred on Marienstraße. A woman was driving her car in the direction of Scherpenseel. Shortly after the Marienstraße bus stop, she damaged the left wing mirror of a parked vehicle with her right wing mirror. The woman who caused the accident waited at the scene and left her contact details on the vehicle. However, no one appeared and so she drove off and returned to the scene of the accident at around midday. In the meantime, the silver Polo with the city license plate (AC-) had been driven away. As no one has come forward since then, the Geilenkirchen woman decided to contact the police and report the accident retrospectively. The driver of the damaged vehicle is now being sought.
